My story...
It is 10 years since I left my career of 26 years in banking to become a Holistic Therapist and Reiki Master/Teacher. Since setting up Namaste Reiki in 2014, working from my home I have taught 146 Reiki 1 Students (as of June 2024), 137 Reiki 2 and of those students 81 have now become Reiki Master/Teachers; I have made some wonderful friends for life.
It’s been an amazing journey since taking my Reiki 1st Degree with my own Reiki Master, Ethel Kilroy in Middleton back in 2003. Like many of my own students, I did the Reiki 1st Degree so that I could do self-healing if I was unwell or stressed and so that I could help my friends and family. I was intrigued by Reiki and how it can make a difference to people. I certainly didn't foresee that I would one day be working with Reiki and teaching it full-time. The Universe had other ideas though!
Reiki has helped me to cope with challenging events in my life and I have seen first-hand the difference it has made to many of my clients young and old that have been to me for healing; I have also seen how Reiki has enhanced my students lives as well.
Most people start their Reiki journey to learn self-healing, to help a family member or simply out of curiosity. I have found that Reiki complements everything that we do as well as providing healing.
When I first set up Namaste Reiki I had no idea how things would work out and whether I would be busy; I needn’t have worried and I am grateful to have met so many people. I have had students travel to me from all over the country to do my Reiki courses.
In recent years I have also become a Reiki Master in Angelic Ascension Reiki; I did this course for self-development and did not plan to teach others but I loved the energy so much that I now teach Angelic Ascension Reiki as well.
I also offer Amadeus Shamanic Healing combined with Angelic Ascension Reiki.
